1 I consume a lot of content, mostly in the form of podcast and books. Most of it is self-help, economics, psychology, and the likes. In particular I have enjoyed Mark Manson's Solved podcast.
If there is one thing that you can take from it, is that most of the things required to live a happy life can be summarized as: sleep well, exercise a bit, and spend time with other humans. So simple, and yet, it is so easy to drown in everything that happens around us, making us forget of the basics.
I am prone to working long hours, and I often find myself justifying not sleeping, or exercising, or eating well because: "there is a lot of work to be done". Yet, I would probably be more productive if I had set aside some time to take care of myself first.
I have resolved to keep a list of things I should do as a part of a simple and healthy life. If the list is not complicated, I should be able to look at it everyday and use it to ground my actions on it. Not a checklist that I MUST do regardless of everything, but a north start that is not hard to find when lost.
